Before and After-Dragon

Hi, welcome to my blog! This is a before and after photo. The top photo is the one that I drew to sew the actual dragon in the bottom photo. As you see, the picture of the dragon has fur. That's because I didn't know how to sew on fur. You might see the colors are different but other then that it's the same. I hope you enjoyed my first blog post. I will be using this to show you my many creations.

  1. Hi! Even though your sewn piece does not have fur, I still enjoy how you chose to sew on buttons. The color of blue is a great contrast to the color of pink/ red of the body. My favorite part are the eyes.

  2. This blog is great! Nice work. I'm looking forward to watching it grow.

    as for the artwork above...

while i believe this represents a more contemporary feel, i like how you involved turn of the century design overall. Though the American components (the Wings) were slightly more organic in form and less formal than the International Style (The body) it is more firmly related to it than any other. The red juxtaposed against the pink is very Salvador Dali. BRAVO!
